Tamar works in neo-traditional and colour: a heavy outline, saturated fills and a silhouette that reads from across a room.
The style ages well precisely because of its structure. The heavy outline holds the shape even as the colour fades, which is what separates it from colour work resting only on soft gradients.
The palette is chosen against skin tone in the studio, not against a drawing on a screen. The same red sits differently on light and on dark skin, and that is part of the planning rather than a note at the end.
